This past weekend was a weekend of Celebrations!
Friday we had a little birthday party for Amy at a french Restaurant in the flat iron district of Manhattan. It was so fun to have a girls night out and celebrate Amy's day
We all went in together and gave Amy a camera for her birthday. She was so excited!
Maggie and I at dinner
On Saturday 3 of my friends and I hosted a wedding shower brunch for our friend Maggie. She is getting married on New Years Eve in Cape Town, South Africa. She and her fiance Mike are leaving the city at the end of the week to go to South Africa. They won't be back in the city for at least a year so we wanted to celebrate with her before she leaves.

We played a game where we asked Maggie questions about Mike and for every question she got wrong she had to put a piece of gum in her mouth. She did pretty well, but it was still funny to watch! |
It was a great brunch and so fun to celebrate with Maggie
This weekend was a great reminder of how the Lord has blessed me with sweet friendships in the city. I am thankful for these girls and that I have the privilege to walk through this season of their lives with them.
I am going to miss Maggie sooooo much when she moves. She has been such a great friend to me the last 2 years and it has been so neat to watch God work in her life. It is going to be weird to not have her close her by. NYC will be a little bit more lonely without her, but I am excited about what the Lord has next for her.
