Meeting Mary Blake for the first time
How do you capture meeting your niece for the first time? How do you express the rejoicing that occurs when you wait for something for so long and then the Lord blesses you with such a sweet gift? I don't have the words, but I do have some sweet pictures. These are just a few of the ones captured last week. Thanks to a wonderful boss and Delta skymiles I was able to spend a few days getting to know my new niece.
The first night G's mom led us in a time of sharing and praying together. It was a sweet time as a family of praising God and being reminded together that we serve a faithful God. The rest of my short trip I spent as much time as I could feeding and cuddling with Mary Blake. She's a sweet one!
I am already counting down the days until I see her at Christmas. Until then, I am thinking she and I will have many face time dates on the Iphone!

I am writing through the tears. There is no way to capture in words what we experienced this past week but you did an amazing job with pictures. Thank you, Aunt Bethany - the best aunt a child could ever have.
Totally agree with what Mama Chris said! B these pics are beautiful! You really captured some great moments with your first meeting of MB! So excited for you guys.
