An Alexander Day

Day #8

I've had a really rough day.  I think I might call it an Alexander day if you know what that is.  

I overslept

got stuck in elevator in my building

was yelled at by a man at the post office

called my eye doctor to make an appointment (because i am freaking out that my vision is getting worse) only to find out they have lost my records and tried to convince me I was not a patient...even though I actually have been a patient for 2+ years.  

And there is this really really annoying not stop noise going on outside my office window.

You get the idea!  

So in the midst of my busy work day I stopped read some Oswald Chambers, prayed, listened to some worship music on Pandora and reminded myself that God is with me in this life.  I feel really alone today, but HE is with me.  I feel like I am being swallowed by this massive city today, but HE is near and HE Loves me.  Simple truths bring me great peace

And then I ordered some of these cute notepads, because they are my favorite!  I love note pads. I love Kate Spade.  it's the perfect combination and it just made my day a little bit brighter!  

Here's to hoping today gets a little bit better!
