Clinging

Day #14

Clinging to God's word today.  

Thankful for a God who loves me dearly. He is my pursuer, the one who holds my heart in the palm of his hand.  He hears my cry and lifts me on the days where I feel the weariest. He is my rock and my fortress. He is my shepherd.

"He gathers the lamb in his arm and carries him close to his heart."  Isaiah 40:11

I read Jesus Calling today before I left for work and I was reminded of my blog post from this day last year. It's funny how the same feelings continue to re-surface, yet this truth speaks to me yet again.  It felt alive and fresh and the words I needed to soak in as I started the day.
