1) We started it off right with the best doughnuts in the country, Krispy Kreme and relaxed on the train recovering from the craziness of Penn Station on St Patricks day (who knew you could see so many drunk people dressed in green at 9:30 AM in the morning)
2) We get picked up by our roommate Hannah D in a silver Escalade and go back to her house to meet the whole Deletto fam!
3) We walk in to the backyard, see the beautiful pool and hottub, and immediately ask when we can come back to enjoy it (note we haven't even made it inside when we invite ourselves back. Great manners I know! )
4) We eat some amazing bread by Grandma Deletto, talk to the family, and load up with the Deletto ladies to hit up some fabulous outlet malls.
5) Upon arrival we begin our misssion, map in hand, to ensure that we make it to all the pivotal shopping stores.
6) We try on lots of clothes, including Lindsay Ann's selection of this down jacket that by far is the prissiest down jacket I've ever seen (the picture does not do is justice of how girly and cute it is)
7) We give each other fashion advice and the honest opion of what to buy and what to leave on the racks.
8) We get hungry from all this shopping and hit up Auntie Annes for a pretzel and the best Diet Coke I have had in awhile (yes, Diet Coke does taste different depending on where you get it)
9) We see someone carrying a Kate Spade bag and immediately stop them to find out where this jewel of a store is.
10) Once we find it, we walk in and immediately squeal at how cute everything is.
11) We all score with something great. I came out with the perfect pair of gold flats that I must say were on clearance and then another 30% off. It was love at first sight!
12) We shop and shop until these 4 city girls began to complain that our feet hurt. You know it's bad when we say that!
13) We pile our goods in to the car and head for Deletto home. That is until we see a Sonic sign and make Hannah make a uturn so we can have our suburban fix!
14) As the Uturn is occuring we hear that the Deletto girls have NEVER had Sonic. What? We might all gasp as once and then begin to explain the deliciousness of a Sonic Drink.
15) We stop at a bakery to pick up desert and see this fun little sign. Very fitting for Long Island I think!
16) We go back to the Deletto house to hang out with their sweet family and eat this delicious meal!
17) We talk, and laugh, and eat some more, and then realize that we do live in Manhattan and must go home at some point.
19) We boarded the train, shopping finds in hand and spent the train ride talking, looking up the theme song to Rescue 911 (because we all loved that show at kids and needed to remember what the opening song was), and gearing up for the big city that would meet us at the end of the ride.
20) We head back to 9A, saying good-bye to our suburban Saturday adventure and planning the next time we can do this again!
