Neglected!

I was listening last night to my itunes playlist while cleaning out my closet and the song that my blog is named after came.  I thought to myself, "oh my blog!" I forgot that I have negleted this thing for the last couple weeks.  It probably has something to do with this

  Well not just this, but isn't my new green wall in my bathroom oh so pretty?  The painters were scheduled for Monday morning to come paint all of 9A.  As I was preparing my room to be painted I made a game time decision to do something a little fun with my bathroom.  I really really love it! 
After a week of moving all our furniture around, taking everything off the wall, having about 10 painters overtake our apt, smelling paint fumes for days, and then putting everything back together again, 9A is looking oh so spifffy!  It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do to an old apt. It was a crazy, upside kind of week but we survived!  And now I just need to decide what to do with my fun green wall!

The blog will most likely continue to be negleted for the next couple weeks, although I do want to post a few of the photos from the many photo shoots I have been doing with families.  I leave Thursday to go back to Texas to be a part of my good friend Joanna's wedding(you might remember me talking about her shower last month) and then I'm on to Florida to spend a few days at the beach with my family! I am so ready to be out of the concrete jungle for more than 2 days and to have some fun times with friends and family.

I have so many things the Lord is teaching me right now, specifically as I have taken this month to be off the internet (for the most part) and to spend some much needed extended time in prayer.  I hope to share some of that on this blog of mine at some point. 

For now I am off to spanish lessons and then to meet friends in Central Park to lay in the sun and enjoy this beautiful day we are having in New York City!
