Random Wednesday Thoughts

• I leave on Friday for Hannah and Lance's Wedding in Dallas! Looking forward to a weekend away celebrating the couple and spending time with friends!  
• Speaking of traveling I have a lot of traveling coming up in the next couple months. I was trying to find my plane ticket today for the weekend and found 4 plane tickets in my inbox. whew!  Between 2 weddings, a little vacation with my family, a work conference, and a missions trip it is going to be a busy couple months!
• YES a missions trip!  I am so excited to be going to Ecuador in July to parnter with some good family friends at Bayside Medical Missions.  It will be a different type of trip than the ones I've been on, but I am excited! 
• I'm raising support for my trip now.  Support Raising is such a faith process!  I always feel overwhelmed about it, but I know the Lord will provide! If you are interested in supporting this trip please do let me know and I would love to send you the information!
• And speaking of all the traveling, I am doing a lot of baby-sitting and photography to help fund these trips.  The Lord is providing to which I am incredibly thankful!  
• YES Photography!  I really love photography and have had a lot of fun doing some family photography sessions in Central Park.  Because I am so connected to families through my job I really haven't had to advertise at all.  It's been a good creative outlet for me and a nice little extra income.  
• And speaking of hobbies I registered for a tennis clinic this summer and have asked a friend to start doing Spanish lessons with me once a week! I'm really trying to do all the things I've wanted to do.  It's helpful when life can feel very routine.  
• On my commute to work yesterday a man wearing Christmas zip-up onesie pajamas and a sailers hat carrying a cup of coffee (in a real mug) walked by me on the subway platform and I thought to myself "huh thats interesting"  then it hit me how "normal" life in this crazy city has become.  I honestly didn't even take a 2nd look at this strange site.  
• A couple weeks ago on my day off my dad texted me and told me to go outside b/c the retired Enterprise Space Shuttle was going to fly over Manhattan.  I ran out and had a perfect view of the space shuttle as it flew directly over my apt building.   
• My whole family is coming to NYC to visit me in August.  Surprisedly as much as people have come to see me, my whole family has yet to come all at once!  I think my friends here are as excited as I am that Mary Blake is coming for a vist.  
• We are in the process of doing some apt re-decorating at 9A.  We made the scary Ikea trip a couple weeks ago and came home with some goods.  Now my mom is making us new curtains and we have a few more things to do.  I will have to post pictures when we are finished! 
• I think those are enough random thoughts for this Wednesday!
