Homework

The assignment this week in my photography class was to choose a room in my apt, take 5 pictures of different items in the room, and then focus on one area and take multiple pictures using different Composition techniques.
I chose to photograph one of my roommates Hannah's room (you know, because it's oober cute)
After taking multiple pictures around the room, I decided to focus on this cute little set up and take it a part a bit through photography
I clicked away for awhile and ended up with lots of pics. Instead of boring you to death I thought I would only post a small sampling on the blog. I love that the art of photography can take one small scene and make it look so different when you break it in to pieces.
This assignment reminded me how much the big and small pieces go together.  sometimes we miss out on the beautiful intricate details of a scene, because all we look at is the bigger picture.  On the other hand seeing the big picture is so vital when looking at the small pieces. They go hand in hand in a perfect puzzle like kind of way.  This is such a good life reminder for me. I so easily get caught up in one and totally miss out on the other.  I am so thankful to serve a God who knows the big picture and yet cares about every single tiny detail of the small things within the bigger picture. He sees it both perfectly and is patiently teaching me about this as I walk through the journey of his perfect written plan for me.
