Summer in the City

Oh summer how I love thee, let me count the ways....
you bring warm weather, lots of sunshine, people out of hiding, and life-giving sidewalks.  Outdoor seating is open, late night dinners are enjoyed, long walks are a must, and beautiful sunsets are a regular occurrence.  Runs along the Hudson are much to be desired and Central Park is once again to be enjoyed.  Outdoor movies, Summer stage, dancing on the pier, and Broadway at Bryant Park should I say more? Don't forget Jaunts to the beach, sun-kissed skin, sundresses, and flip flops. Fountains are flowing, street fairs are open, and Mr. Softee on every corner.  Daylight last longer, Subways are less crowded, New Yorkers are more relaxed, and having fun is always on the radar.
Oh Summer how I do LOVE thee.
