The Weekly Top 10

I really don't want to do this tonight.  I'm tired and the days of this week have totally run together, BUT I am sticking to this!  It holds me accountable to be thankful for the highlights in my week.

  • Girls bible study on Monday night.  We are doing  a great study by Priscilla Shirer.
  • Got lots done at work this week.  It felt like a productive week, which have been few and far between lately.
  • Made it to the gym everyday this week which always makes me feel better.
  • Feeding the ducks at Central Park with Margaret.  She was so sweet and so excited. (I have been baby-sitting M since she was 2 months old (along with her 2 sisters) and she just turned 2 this week!! I love her family so I still baby-sit a few hours a week and spend as much time with them as possible) My favorite part was when she was running through the John Lennon Memorial in the park yelling repeatedly "baby ducks I'm coming!"  we definitely got some stares from all the tourist:-)
  • Getting to celebrate my moms birthday with my family over the phone! I got to hear her open all her presents!
  • Shopping in Soho and brunch with Maggie.  We even checked out the newly opened "Dash" store (owned by the Kardashian sisters) Neither one of us were that impressed.  I do think I had the best Strawberry Pancakes ever at brunch.  (check at Quantum Leap in Greenwich Village if you are in the city)
  • Mike and Maggie's going away party.  sooooo sad that they have left the city, but it was a great last little party and so fun to hang out with friends.
  • Leadership Academy on Saturday morning.  This is my 2nd year with the girls I mentor and I am finally seeing some walls break down.
  • Thanksgiving Feasts tonight with my fellowship group and the new fellowship group that has started off of our group.  Fun to hang out with everyone and eat a yummy Thanksgiving meal.
  • The sermon tonight at Redeemer was great.  It was on the name of God and was a great reminder of the great God we serve.
