This past weekend my good friend Mara Diana and her husband came to the big apple. They live in Kazakhstan right now, so I haven't seen her in a couple years. MD and I first met when we lived together as team leaders on a summer beach project. I still have such fun memories from that summer. Soon after that summer the Lord led us both on staff with CO and along with our friend Katherine we waded through college ministry together. Although we don't talk often she is one of those friend who is always encouraging and fun to re-connect with.
The visit was super brief, but I am thankful for the time we did have!
