I can't believe it's already Saturday?!?
We started her time off with tickets to "Live with Regis and Kelly". It was such a fun show. Regis only has a few shows left, so it was great to be able to get tickets. I honestly coud not get over how friendly Regis was with the audience. I also could not get over how small the studio was. Think teeny tiny small!
While I was at work my mom hung out and did some projects for me around my apt (which was awsome!!) I had Friday and Saturday off (my work week is Sun-Thurs) so we took full advantage to do lots of things! We ran a ton of errands all over the city. Literally, I drug my mom all over Manhattan:-) but she was a great sport and we accomplished a lot. Last night we went to see "Sister Act" on Broadway. It was the 2nd time I've seen it, but I loved it just as much. It really is a great show! We also managed to hang out with some of my friends throughout the week. It was nice for her to see my life here and be a part of it for a few days.
Today it snowed. Yes SNOWED! Serisouly not happy about this, but it is what it is!
After a very wet outing to go to brunch and run a couple errands (Including a stop at TJ Max where I bought the cutest lamp shade ever) we came home to paint.
I found this red piece of furntiure on the street a couple months ago and thought it would make the perfect bedside table for my room. After talking through colors with my talented roommate Hannah we decided to go with a bright green!
I still think I might add some fun finishing touches on it, but for now it it is finished! It really is true that one mans junk is another mans treasure. you gotta love street merch! I will take a picture of it in my room and post that soon.
I feel like I got so many "to do" things accomplished this week.
Thanks mom for coming!!
