Birthday Shout-outs

Happy Birthday Amy!!!

we work together, we lead a fellowship group together, we are leading a missions trip together, we basically over-lap in every area of our life in NYC. And she has become a very dear friend!    

Fun Fact about A2 and me:  1 year before Amy and I moved to NYC (we moved 6 months apart) we both were on staff with Campus Outreach in different regions and both attended a CO womens conference. We took a group picture and were standing right next to each other!  We don't think we talked and neither one of us remember the other (Amy found the picture recently and noticed this fact).  who knew that within a year we would meet again in NYC and soon be doing life together!  

Amy calls me her surprise friend. 

I prayed for one special friend in NYC.  Although God has given me many friends, Amy and I joke that we speak the same language.  It is so nice to have a friend in this city who  "speaks your language".  I am so thankful the Lord answered my prayer with her!

Happy Early Birthday to this lady!

 Once again, I will not be able to be with my mom on her birthday.  I am so thankful for her and will be celebrating for her across the world!  This year she will be spending her birthday with her new grandbaby, so I am thinking she won't be missing me too much!
