How to Survive your First NYC Fire

Last night was a scary and exciting night at 9A

It all started when I couldn't sleep and was laying in bed watching tv.  I was starting to doze off around 1AM when I heard lots and lots of sirens.  This is no big deal when you live in NYC, but normally I don't hear loud sirens from where my bedroom is located.  I stuck my head out my window and realized I was hearing an alarm.  I ran to the living room to look out the front window to see what was happening.  When I lookd down all I could see were firetrucks, ambulances, and lots and lots of lights.  At this point I realized that the alarm was coming from our building hallway and our apt had smoke coming in!

I will let you jump over to my roommate Hannah's blog to read the rest of the story.....

The adventures in NYC continue on.  I think I would be ok to never have an adventure like last nights again!
