12 Prayers for 2012

On New Years Eve I posted 11 highlights for 2011.  As I reflected on last years highlights I also wanted to think through specifc prayer for 2012.  So here are 12 prayers for 2012.  Although I have journaled through specifics in depth and plan on writing out the 12 topics on on index cards to pray through regularly, I am only posting the heading/broad request on my blog.

1) That I would daily surrender to the Lord. My plans, my desires, my dreams.
2) That I would experience rich blessing that comes with surrender.  I would see blessings in the path the Lord leads me down this year and look back on 2012 as a year of blessing.
3) That I would know where to spend my time this year.  That I would be intential with my time and would be an impact and blessing to those around me.  I want to be an ambassador for the Lord and give my life away this year.
4) That I would experience deep friendships.  As people come and go, the Lord would continue to provide like-minded people for me in this city.
5) The Lord would bring my husband in my life this year.  That His hand would be evident in this.
6)  Wisdom and direction for my future.
7) Spiritual Disciplines.  I want to be in the word daily, memorizing scripture, and praying. I want to be engulfed in this so that the things of this world would become dimmer as my focus is on the Lord.
8) Family.  wisdom and guidance for my parents in this chapter of their lives.  For my sis, bro-in-law, and niece as they began life as a family of 3.
9)   For Redeemer as we decentralize into 3 congregations
10) My Job at Redeemer.
11) My Apt. my living situation has changed so much in the 3 years with different apts and roommates coming and going. Praying for a year without too much change in this area. That my apt would continue to feel like a home to me.
12) That I would be clay in the Redeemer's hands.  That whatever path the Lord leads me down for 2012 that I would be teachable and humble and trust Him.  I would continue to be molded in to the person God wants me.  That He would fill me with himself and this year would be used for his glory.

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Psalm 138:8
