Big Day Big Week!

Day #28 and Day #29
It's a big week at Redeemer as we prepare for opening day at our new W83rd Ministry Center!
We had two open houses this week, one last night and one tonight.  It was an exciting two nights as hundreds of people saw this space for the first time!

All the ambassadors had to wear these really awesome buttons:-)

The nifty way we will be checking in all Redeemerites from now on.  It has been a huge undertaking to switch to this new system, but it is going to radically change our lives in Children's Ministry!

 The very special dedication service
so exciting to finally see this sanctuary full of God's people!
Tim Keller speaking to the congregation.  I was totally challenged by his talk on hospitality.  What a great reminder as we have our first building that it really isn't ours and we are called to share!  How can we love each other, our congregation, our neighbors, the world with this building?

It's so much fun to see thse classrooms come to life!
Can't wait for Sunday when these classrooms are filled with little people eager to be at their new church!
Hanging out on the Children's floor
I love walking by this building and seeing it all lit up like this!

As February closes out I can honestly say it was one of the craziest months of work I have ever had.  There has been so many things going on at once.  I am beginning to run dry.  Thankfully there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  As tiring as it all has been, it is also incredibly exciting!

This whole photo a day has not worked out too well for me this month.  I wanted to show you fun pictures of my life in the city, but I really think 3/4 of my pictures were of the building.  I guess you at least got an accurate picture of what my month has been like.

I will definitely update you on how March 4 goes!  Opening day is almost here.
