On Sunday afternoon 2 of my roommates, Hannah and Perryn, and I threw my other roommate, Lindsay Ann a wedding shower!
It was beautiful, fun, and totally Lindsay Ann.
Since 9A is such a special place to LA we decided to host the shower in our home.
We worked hard making it beauiful and in the end we were all in love with how it turned out!
If you know Lindsay Ann you know she is very girly and classy,so we wanted the shower to be girly and classy! We mainly used fresh flowers and a few pictures of LA and Kyle to decorate our home.
Since her shower happened to be in December we decided to use Christmas decorations as part of the decor.
Our colors for the shower were pink, aqua, and silver so we bought ornaments to match.
We put bouquets of fresh flowers all over the apt
As the party favor Perryn made recipe cards for all the girls. We purchased Gift tags with LA's new initials from The Polka Dot Princess to tie to each of the bags.
Perryn had the wonderful idea to put Christmas lights in this aqua vase. It looked beautiful!
I found these pink tissue paper balls at one of my favorite stores, Paper Source, and thought the shades of pink would be perfect for the decor.
I also bought a "K" Stamp at Paper Source (the first letter of LA's new last name) and we stamped pink napkins using a gold stamp pad.
As a drink option we put fresh fruit in water. It's simple, pretty, and tasty!
For our food table, my mom monogrammed LA's new initials on a white table cloth. We also printed her new initials on pink paper and framed it as a table centerpiece.
If you can't tell, Lindsay Ann LOVES monograms! She is a true southern girl!
The Shower Hosts
What made this shower so much more fun was that 3 out of the 4 moms were able to come help/attend.
Hannah, LA, and my mom! (we missed you Perryn's mom)
The bride to be and her mom!
We had 3 courses of food throughout the shower. It was all delicious!
One of Lindsay Ann's favorite things is Coke in a bottle. She told me one time that she would rather have a cold coke than almost anything else! So we decided to order the old fashioned cokes as a beverage item for the shower. It was a huge hit!
We used aqua and white stripe straws to have with the cokes. It was super cute!
LA opened all her gifts. She got some great things!
The Group Picture
After present opening, we had our 3rd course which was dessert!
Other than Coke another LA favorite is Banana Pudding from Magnolia's Bakery. Since it is pretty much amazing, we decided this needed to be a menu item at the shower!
After all the guests left we took a few roommate pictures!
You have probably heard me say this alot (or mabe not) BUT I am so thankful for my roommates. I've had a lot of roommates in my life and as exhausting as it all can be, the Lord has been so gracious to always give me such great people to live with.
I am thankful for the season I have had to do life with these 3! We are going to miss Lindsay Ann like crazy when she moves out in a couple weeks!
It was a beautiful shower with Lindsay Ann's sweet friends. I am thankful we got to celebrate with her in this way.
After the shower we piled in our living room to watch 27 Dresses. The older I get and more weddings I am in the more this movie seems like real life to me. I could do a whole other blog post on that!:-)
Seeing that I have 5 weddings in 4 months and I am a bridesmad in 4 of them, you will most likely be hearing about lots of showers and weddings in the upcoming months on this blog of mine.
Congrats Lindsay Ann!

Looks great, Bethany! You have a true gift for hospitality!
Thank you for the most beautiful, wonderful, and thoughtful shower! It was so much fun and I will never be able to express how grateful I am to have each of you as roommates and friends. To share life with you has been on of the biggest blessings in my life. I will miss you dearly and still may have to skype for outfit advice and meet up in midtown to swap clothes ;)
LOVE YOU!!!!!!
