My Favorite

 This past wekeend I was in a wedding in SC (much more on that later) so I took a couple days vacation before the weekend and spent time with my family and of course my favorite 17 month old!  

If you know me, you know I love being an aunt.  But each time I see this little girl I fall a little more in love with her.  She is a ball of energy who loves life.  She is at such a fun age where she can really play and interact with you. If you can't tell by my pictures, I taught her the art of "self portraits" It provided lots of entertainment for us:-)  

The Blakester LOVES music and the baby has some moves.  I love how much she loves to dance! There was this one moment when I was spinning around with her in my arms dancing to a pop song when I thought, "this is joy"  She was laughing I was laughing and for that moment everything felt right.  Life isn't always a "happy dance"  but I am so thankful for this little girl who brings so much joy!  

I wish I was able to see her more, but I am thankful for the sweet moments we do have. And thankfully even though we don't see each other too often she seems cool with picking up where we left off each time.

I am so thankful the Lord chose MB to be a part of our family! she is one hilarious kid!
