Lately....

• Last week Neil, Amy and I had a date and went to our favorite Pio Pio.  Neil's like a brother to Amy and I, so it's aways a good time to be together

•  on Friday night we had Amy's Bachelorette.  We started out at our friends Katherine and Robyn's place and then went out to hear a live band and dance.

 

• It was a great night celebrating the bride to be  
• On Saturday a group of us went to brunch at Blue Smoke. I think this might be a new favorite place for me.
• On Saturday night we celebrated Neil and Adriana's Birthday. It was the last big bash at Amy's place before she moved. 
• On Sunday another group of us went to brunch at Fatta Cuckoo.

• On Monday Amy moved away.  It was a sad, sad day for me!  When I knew I was moving to NYC I prayed for a friend to do life with.  God gave me Amy, and we really have done life side by side the last 5 years.  We could probably both say that almost every memory in NYC includes the other one.  We've been work teammates, co-laborers, and friends from day one. I know God's plan is best, but her leaving would not have been my way. Good thing God knows better than me and he promises to lead his children in the way that is best.
• On Monday night Erin, Misty and I went to a comedy show in the East Village. The show wasn't that great, but it was a fun night together.
• On Tuesday my boss knew I was having a hard week and gave me a beautiful plant.  This is my first live plant to own.  Hoping now that I can keep it alive!
• Tomorrow I leave for a 10 day around the country trip. Really, it is going to be crazy!
• Life is going by so fast these days.  I have all these things I want to blog about, but just can't keep up with it.  I feel like I need to take a deep breath and do a little life re-group. 
• I'm thankful that the Lord is with me through each of my days and that His grace is sufficient for each moment.
