Freedom Gala

Last night I attended the Restore Freedom Gala.  Restore is a very extraordinary organizing that seeking to "restore freedom, safety, and hope to foreign-born survivors of sex trafficking in NYC" I have attended a few events for Restore and always love the opportunity to connect and give to this organization. It was also really fun to get dressed up and spend the evening in a beautiful space with old and new friends
Amy and I (pictured above) and Me, Joanna, and Amy (pictured below)
With 2 of my new roommates, Lindsey Ann and Hannah
Vicky and Amy. I lived with Vicky my first 2 months in the city and
she is like a big sister to me!
Did you know that there are an estimated 27 millions slaves in the world and that over 17,000 of them are trafficked into the United States each year?   This is such an unimaginable crime to me, yet it is happening daily.  I am so thankful for Restore and other organizations who are actively seeking to fight against it and help those who have come out of it.
