Last week was my birthday. I was dreading it! This was for multiple reason (which I won't go in to). I have to admit though it was a pretty great birthday. And pretty much a whole week of celebrating. Sadly I did not take pictures of anything but my actual party. On my real birthday about 10 of my friends met for dinner at a local mexican restaurant. It was laid back and fun! Then on Friday night several of us went to a local bar that had a live band playing and danced the night away. It was so fun!! They could play anything and even played "Sweet Home Alabama" for me and gave me a birthday shout out. So fun!
Then on Saturday I had a "birthday bbq bash" on my friends rooftop. It was a gorgeous night and perfect weather for an outdoor party. I am posting a ton of pictures from it! Since it is the only thing from the week I have pictures from I thought I would scrapbook a bunch!
Below I am pictured with the hosts of the party: Laryssa, Amy, and Neil.
Baby Charlotte made an appearance. Her mom Caroline was in my fellowship group and you might remember me talking about Charlotte HERE. She was a bit overwhelmed by all the people, but honestly I can't blame her:-)
My awesome fellowship group (minus a few people). I am so thankful for these girls!
Some of my awesome friends who came out for the celebration
I was even surprised with a birthday cake!
Happy Birthday to me!
It was such a chill night and so fun to hang out with so many of my friends here in the city
I had to get a pic of Mike and Maggie. I love these two and am so excited to be standing with them when they say "I do" on New Years Eve!
Daniela and Jason
And yet some more fun friends
Did I mention that Amy and I did a short snip-it of the Singles Lady dance. For all of you who know me, know how good I am at dancing. (yeah right haha!)
Neil manned the grill (and was awesome at it)
It was a great night and a great birthday!! I am so thankful for my family and friends who made it so special for me!!!
And now on to a new year of life!
