Studio Photography

I think I mentioned in a previous post that I took a photography class this past winter.
Photography is a creative outlet for me and a way for me to get out of my church/work bubble and meet new people.
In one of my last classes for this session they hired a professional model to come for us to photograph.  We each had to pick 2-3 poses for the model as well as be in charge of all lighting for the shoot (which getting lighting correct in a dark room is so much harder than I realized).  Because I normally do all my photography outside, doing a studio shoot was a little more challenging for me.
I can't say I love these photos, but for my first try at studio shooting I feel like they are decent.

I have a couple more invididual classes to take this month and then I think I'll take a little break from photography classes for awhile.
Hopefully at some point I will have more time to actually practice all that I learned in this class and keep growing in this hobby that I love!
