Changes in the Apt

This is long over-do on the blog, but last month we said good-bye to one of the four 9A roommates.  Lauren left us to return to the lonestar state.  After 5 years in the city Texas won her back.  And so we had one last dinner together in the west village at Low Country

 We were sad to see Lauren go, but thankfully we were able to find the perfect replacement.  I have no pictures of her, but our new roommate Hannah (yes we have two residents with the same name now) is cute, sweet, and has totally seemed to adapt to our revolving door of an apt at 9A. 

As well as roommate changes in the apt, we have also had a few furniture changes.  After moving the rest of my furniture last week, I left it up to my oh so very talented roommate, Hannah, to find homes for my treasured pieces (Salvation Army won most of my stuff, but there were a few things I could not let go of) I think this red piece looks beautiful in our foyer!  

 And Since Hannah (and our apt) is being featured on a very well known television show in a few weeks, she did a little sprucing up of the apt this past weekend.  It was so fun to have our apt be turned into a little studio and to watch Hannah share on camera all that she has done with the furniture and arrangements.  Would you believe that almost everything in our apt came from either a thrift store or the street?  Yes, I will definitely let you know more details of the television gig......but not yet!
